The Jefferson Theater was rockin’ last Thursday, April 8th. The DSA was hosting its annual Spring Social, and the bar was wide open for the first couple of hours. In the words of Ben Haberman ‘11, “It is a night to remember…but one I probably won’t!”
The highlight of the evening was live music provided by Blues Jam and the New York City rock band The Stemms. The former is also known as the faculty band and the latter is the band of Ben Noland ‘11. Both provided the fans with many eargasms throughout the night.
In the words of an admitted student, “I felt like Jerry Garcia was back from the Dead.”
Question: What other top business schools have a faculty band that plays live for its students? I don’t think there are any others! That is what makes Darden, and Charlottesville in general, a very special place.
